Our reputation in the insurance sector is a reflection of our owners’ reputation, International Versicherungs-Holding GmbH that participates with 80 percent and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development that participates with 20 percent in the ownership. The company is reinsured at the most renowned global insurers such as UNIQA Rück, Münchener Rück, and Kölnische Rück.
UNIQA osiguranje offers all types of insurances that go hand in hand with market needs and trends, with the purpose of insuring natural persons as well as small and medium enterprises.

299 employees of the Croatian Group member in over 30 sales outlets across the country are responsible for 30,000 clients. Through the intensive development of our own sales network as well as through cooperation with the Raiffeisen group, insurance intermediaries, brokers and agencies, the year 2008 was exceptionally successful for the Croatian member of the UNIQA group.

Seven new sales outlets were opened in the course of only one year and six new products were launched meeting our clients’ needs and at the same time keeping up with the market trends: vessel insurance Nautima , travel insurance packages, payment protection insurance for the Raiffeisen bank clients, insurance of hotel guests, insurance for small and medium enterprises as well as unit linked life insurance. Our offer was additionally enriched by introducing free-of-charge assistance to all the clients, regardless of the insurance type they have. The name of this new service is UNIQA Companion.
